An American psychic correctly guessed that a pneumonia-like virus would sweep the world in 2020 then mysteriously just fade away. Many in the world were astounded by her accuracy because she had no professional background in science or medicine. Because those that did predicted the same outbreak for over ten years. But many don’t know that every psychic does extra research along with their readings. They consult futurists, read periodicals and keep a close eye on the news. It’s not just channeling. Also, ask any science fiction writer when the next viral outbreak would be and a ton of them would have answered 2020 too. So why the hype? That’s just it. Psychics are good at creating hype as well as concealing their methods and playing sleight-of-hand on those unaware of their more practical methods. They’re also highly-skilled storytellers who have mastered improv and counseling. Another example of applied narrative methods.
